This is why Hall Saddlery is unique... we carry North Face vest year-long because you never know when you'll need warm clothes in this weird climate. My niece Alisa, who has a ranch in Texas, likes to tease me about the weather up here however I can tease her right back by saying "we have winter freeze which KILLS insects." I say this because they had a horse just die recently from a deadly spider bite (that doesn't happen in this frozen tundra). Also, we don't have to spray our horses with chemicals twelve months a year. Have you noticed all the cancers in horses in the past decade? New fly sprays have just arrived at Halls. And, we really tried to get good chemical-free sprays in-stock. Another natural product that just arrived is Hooflex Natural Spray Dressing and Conditioner. Speaking of natural… we are making an effort to recycle bags of any kind at Halls. Many of our products come individually wrapped in plastic, so instead of throwing the bags away, we reuse them. So, when you buy product from us you may get a bag that says size 32 on it instead of Hall Saddlery… just remember, it’s for the good of Mother Earth. This spring, we’ve gone to the dogs and have decided to bring in Grain Free dog food. This dog food, American Natural Premium, is made locally in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. The main ingredient is human grade meat, not chicken feet or corn ground up. There is no RED dye in these products. And, as an FYI, I trapped a feral cat many years ago and spent over $400 trying to figure out why she had diarrhea all the time. With my handy internet surfing capabilities, I found out she was eating processed food.
